48-Hour Creature Animation Challenge: Fox vs Eagle
Lately, I’ve been focusing on creature animation to sharpen my skills, and I wanted to push myself a bit further.
So I gave myself a 48-hour challenge: Create a realistic creature shot from scratch. From reference gathering to polish, everything was done in about 48 hours.
This version isn’t fully final yet — I still see areas for improvement and plan to keep refining it. But I thought it’d be a good time to share the progress so far.
The shot features a fox sprinting through the wild, suddenly dodging an eagle’s attack mid-run. It tumbles from the evasive move, regains balance, and bolts off again.
BatSnipaer_Idle Animation
This is a quick idle animation I created for a character I imagined as alert and perceptive—always aware of her surroundings and ready to react.
Jokull_Idle Animation
This one’s a quick idle animation I made for Jokull—a heavy, battle-hardened warrior type. I wanted his movement to feel grounded and composed, with a strong, steady presence.
